CORRECTIVE EXERCISE

Addressing and fixing muscle compensations

The work and home environments are inundated with automation, personal computers, cell phones, and other technology that are more prevalent today than ever before.

This new environment is producing more inactive, less healthy, and nonfunctional people who are more prone to injury.

Through corrective exercise, we aim to address and fix movement compensations and imbalances to improve the overall quality of movement during workouts and in every day life.

Once the issues are identified, we develop an exercise program that addresses the problem through foam rolling, stretching and total body exercise.

By addressing a client's functional movement and issues impeding it, especially feet, knees and hips, it helps reduce the stress put on their body.

You will be able to move better which will open up a variety of new exercises, and also the ability to take part in a plethora of different activities and sports that you enjoy and may not have been able to do otherwise.

WOMEN’S FITNESS SPECIALIST

A healthy body image means you feel comfortable in your body and you feel good about the way you look.

As a Women’s Fitness Specialist, I design and adjust the fitness programming for where you are across your unique life stages and physical changes. From adolescences to pregnancy and postnatal needs, to mid-life and menopausal weight gain and osteoporosis, I use an integrated model specific to the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to meet your changing fitness and health/wellness goals.

I am not an advocate of weighing yourself every day, we should not be defined by the number on the scale, instead we should think about how we feel and how happy we are with ourselves. Women are notorious for being very self-critical of ourselves, and I want to empower you to think differently through making changes to your health and fitness.

With my private studio, you do not have to worry about walking into a gym and feeling like you're being criticised by anyone, I will meet you where you are at, and offer you a safe environment to work on you and help build your confidence.

Get in touch if you'd like to discuss this in more detail, we can do this together. Suzanne x
